VODAFONE LIVE AT THE CHAPEL

Liberation, 156 mins, M, A DD5.1 R 4:3 fullscreen

This third instalment in this series of live performances is all Australian, though not always all interesting. Delta Goodrem and Missy Higgins offer compare-and-contrast exercises for those who see the piano-playing pair as peas in a pod. More contrast than comparison is offered by Kate Miller-Heidke and Clare Bowditch, who have the songs and the presence. The best of the blokes is Josh Pyke, though the John Butler Trio do their usual feel-good exercise. There's not much to say about Kisschasy and Small Mercies or the earnest but dull Xavier Rudd and Beautiful Girls. There's no contest on the dance-pop front when Sneaky Sound System play Rogue Traders off a break.
